Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Montelly Golf (“Montelly,” “we,” “us”) collects, why we collect it, how it is used, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling your data transparently and securely.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated when you use the Service.

  • Account data: your name, email address, and role (client, coach or admin).
  • Order data: the coach selected, price, payment status, order status and timestamps.
  • Content data: the swing video you upload and the analysis returned by your coach.
  • Contact data: the name, email and message you enter in the contact form.
  • Usage and device data: limited, non-identifying information such as browser type and the pages you visit, used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the Service: to create and manage your account, process your payment, deliver your analysis, allow the coach to review your video, communicate with you about your orders, and respond to your requests. We may also use aggregated, de-identified information to analyze and improve the Service.

3. How we share information

Access is strictly limited. You can see your own orders, videos and analyses. The coach you selected can see the video you sent them and the analysis they produced. Administrators can access records needed to operate and support the platform. No other user can see your data.

We use trusted third-party service providers — such as Stripe for payment processing and a video hosting provider for storage — that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your swing videos with third parties for their own purposes.

4. Your swing videos

The videos you upload are stored privately and are only visible to you and to the coach analyzing them. We never publish your videos, never use them to train automated models, and never share them with third parties. The analysis you receive is visible only to you.

5. Payment data

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your card number or full card details on our servers — Stripe handles that securely on our behalf. Stripe's handling of card data is governed by its own privacy policy and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

6. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used in an aggregated, non-identifying way. These tools do not identify you personally. You can control or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data retention

We keep your account and order data for as long as your account is active, and for as long as needed afterwards to meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations. Your swing videos and analyses remain available in your dashboard and are deleted when you ask us to remove them, or when your account is closed in accordance with our retention schedule.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including restricted access and encrypted storage for uploaded videos. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable safeguards.

9. Your U.S. privacy rights

If you are a resident of certain U.S. states, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to access, correct or delete it, the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

Montelly does not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law (CCPA/CPRA). You may submit a request to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to opt out of any future sharing, through the Contact page. We will verify your identity before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with written permission.

These rights may be subject to certain exceptions under applicable state laws, including for residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), and other states with comparable consumer privacy laws.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. We will notify you of significant changes where appropriate. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Contact

For any privacy-related question or request, including requests under U.S. state privacy laws, use the Contact page and we will get back to you.
